Ruffles Lodge is the perfect conference venue for small meetings and executive retreats.
When it comes to important meetings you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression – so when business calls for privacy, space and luxurious facilities, Ruffles Lodge provides the ideal venue.
The lodge recently opened a new conference room, which comfortably seats 20 people and boasts spectacular views of the hinterland and sprawling Gold Coast.
Ruffles Lodge meeting room is fully equipped with high-speed internet connections, plasma TV, high-quality sound system and private phone facilities. The room is equipped with blackout curtains for presentation sessions and corporate clients have access to a wide range of business equipment including whiteboard, flipchart, overhead projector and screen, DVD player, CD player and VHS projector.
The new conference room has been designed to take advantage of natural light and features beautiful cedar bi-fold doors which open onto an elegant country garden and scenic vista. A number of breakout areas also are available. These lounge-style settings have been designed for maximum comfort and provide a refreshing backdrop to the standard meeting room environment.
Guests can indulge in a unique conference luncheon by the wet edge pool and dine with a difference thanks to the talents of chef Nerys Kinnaird and her innovative gourmet meals prepared in a purpose-built outdoor pizza oven.
Because of its private location and world-class facilities, the lodge is a favoured location for board and senior management meetings. Ruffles Lodge is also the perfect venue for corporate incentive programs.
Up to 20 guests can be accommodated in any one of Ruffles’ 10 rooms which now include three new tree house pool villas located 200 metres from the main lodge and built into the side of the hill – pole house style. The villas boast breathtaking views of the plunge pool and surrounding bushland and have undercover parking for vehicles and a golf buggy, which can be used to move between the Villa and the Lodge.
Ruffles Lodge also offers an exciting range of teambuilding activities specially tailored by a team of professional facilitators from Corporate and Group Xperiences.
Ruffles’ engaging and productive team programs include laser clay pigeon shooting where players use a modified shotgun to fire an infrared beam at clays that are launched from various points. Corporate teams can also take part in a simulated aircraft adventure where participants are blindfolded, placed in unfamiliar territory and have to make their way back to civilisation.
With an enticing wet edge swimming pool, golf chipping green, bushwalking at your door and a world-class on-site day spa set to open in September this year, Ruffles Lodge is a magnificent location to mix business with pleasure.
Ruffles Lodge can take the edge off intense meetings with comprehensive conference packages from just $55 per person per day for a full-day conference package in the garden room which includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea. For an additional $500 per day upgrades to the Executive Meeting Room are available.
Accommodation in a luxury villa is just $300 single/twin share and Ruffles’ three-course dinner including pre-dinner drinks and hors d’oeuvres is $60 per person. Offsite meals can be arranged at the nearby Fox and Hounds Country Inn, which offers traditional English pub-style dining.
The drive to Tamborine Mountain is one of the Gold Coast’s most scenic and visitors can also take advantage of being only a short drive away from Springbrook and Lamington National Park which features the delightful rainforest areas of Binna Burra and O’Reillys. Ruffles Lodge is a pleasant 25 minute drive to the Gold Coast’s major shopping hubs and world-famous Surfers Paradise beaches. In addition the local vineyards and wineries make for an interesting and interactive tour experience for conference delegates.
Special Offer: To celebrate the opening of its new conference room, Ruffles Lodge is offering a free one-hour cocktail party for any conference that books midweek between now and December 2008.
