The incredible range of fruit that is grown on Tamborine Mountain is a wonderful resource for Michael and Alla Ward to draw from to produce their variety of Liqueurs and Schnapps. The Distillery also receives a considerable diversity of fruit from other growers which they turn into beautiful, smooth, Schnapps, Liqueurs, Fruit Brandy, Gins and Vodkas.
Michael Ward is one of the great characters of the mountain and we love his Limon Cello with its hand painted bottles, as are many of the others. It is people like Michael and Alla that make Mount Tamborine.
Although relatively new, the distillery has earned an enviable reputation and over the past four years won 15 national and international awards, including silver and bronze at the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition.
