The newest member of Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Country, Mount Nathan Winery, is the culmination of many years toil & effort from the time George Gibson picked grapes at Cessnock NSW in the 1930's through to establishing a Winery on the Central Coast of NSW 30 years ago. The Central Coast Winery commenced operation producing a range of fruit wines expanding into creams & grape-based products and more recently, honey-based products have been produced in small quantities.
Mount Nathan Winery has been established on a Nectar-rich Paulownia Plantation in the Clagiraba Valley in the picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland. The winery was opened on December 2003 and is now a key supplier of honey based products to the region. Honey is also fermented/fortified to produce a truly unique range of products including snowy (white) and traditional red honey port, as well as a range of honey-based creams such as Coffee, Chocolate, & Pina Colada. The Cellar Door facility is open daily for tasting and sales from 10am to 5pm. Coach Tours are welcome.
