Focusing on premium Queensland wines and gourmet food, this is the perfect place for wine and dining.
The building was originally the Infant Saviour Catholic Church at Burleigh Heads. This historic building has now been returned to its former glory, and now boasts an enormous fireplace, surrounded by deep leather couches, which is a great spot for indulging in a glass of wine.
Heritage Wines at Mt Tamborine is a small family owned and operated boutique winery. With its vineyards in Stanthorpe, the range of wines available in the cellar door has a long history of wine awards. The original vineyard was established in 1993, with plantings of Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Roswal Shiraz 1998 is one of the signature wines of Heritage. Only a small amount of this premium wine was produced. Low crop yields and optimum ripening led to a wine of intense colour and flavour. It was matured in American oak barrels for 18 months. Heritage Wines at Mt Tamborine is open every day for cellar door tastings and lunch. Groups are welcome.
