The Hinterland has something for everybody. Adventurers can get a shot of adrenaline with abseiling, hang gliding, horse riding and 4WD safaris. Nature lovers can enjoy the boundless walking trails, scenic drives that meander through subtropical rainforest or typical Australian bush country and breathtaking lookouts. More leisurely pursuits include bird-watching, browsing through quaint arts and crafts galleries, enjoying lunch and an ale in a country pub or devonshire tea in one of the many cafes that dot the Hinterland, or sampling local wines at one of the local vineyards.
